We have lived in the area nearly 20 years and Stone Soup is a wonderful asset. The ingredients are always fresh and top-notch, the menu is innovative with varied selections. I like plain and simple with clear flavors and my husband enjoys hearty 'man fare' when he goes out to eat. The menu easily reflects both preferences. We have never been disappointed by either the friendly and attentive wait staff or the delicious meals. Whenever we have guests, and when dining as a couple, we often patronize Stone Soup since we know we will enjoy a terrific dining experience that will not disappoint.
It's alright. Good location. Food quality is high, portions small, bill big. Atmosphere is pleasant and they're apparently adding on. Would go again, but would ask if they had a dish that didn't require a magnifying glass to locate on the plate.

Quaint, friendly and a nice menu selection. I had corn chowder and crab cakes, bother were delicious, the price is just right. I stopped on a roadtrip through and was delightfully satisfied. I will definitely be back if I'm ever this way again.
I don't think you get your money's worth here. Maybe this place is for rich equestrian people who have a taste for cheese based dishes. NOT FOR ME!
Went there for our anniversary to try something new and get out of Boiling Springs. If you like entrées with lots of cheese mixed in the dish, then this is the place for you! Also if you are willing to pay a lot for these cheese dishes and eat them in their extremely loud dining area, this is the place for you!
